Commercial Business Delivery – Office Supplies

Monk Office offers next-day deliveries throughout most of Vancouver Island, including Greater Victoria, Sidney, Langford, West Shore, Duncan, and north to Courtenay. Orders must be in stock and placed before 5:00pm (Monday-Friday) to qualify for delivery on the next business day.

Some special delivery schedules to note:

  • Sooke area: orders that are received by 5:00pm Wednesday will be delivered on Thursdays.
  • Salt Spring Island: orders that are received by 5:00pm the previous business day will be delivered on Tuesdays.
  • Campbell River: orders that are received on a business day by 5:00pm will be delivered the following Monday & Wednesday or Friday.
  • Quadra Island: orders that are received by 5:00pm Tuesdays will be delivered on Thursdays.

If you can’t wait for your area’s next delivery, Monk will be happy to deliver your order subject to a courier fee based on your location.

Monk also offers same-day priority service for urgent orders within Greater Victoria (excluding Sooke and Metchosin, but including Sidney, Langford, West Shore). Orders must be greater than $75 (before tax), placed before 12:00 pm (Monday to Friday) and will be subject to a $5.00 Service Fee.  All items on your order must be in stock and we can help you find just what you need. Commercial Business Delivery & Installation – Furniture

Furniture and large office equipment (e.g., copiers) are excluded from our free standard and priority delivery services and are subject to a delivery and/or installation fee. These items may have lead times of 2 to 8 weeks from the manufacturer.

  • If placing an order in-person or by phone, you will receive a quote for delivery and/or installation.
  • If placing an order online, we will contact you with a quote for delivery and/or installation.

Returns

We want you to be happy with your purchase! If you’re not, return it within 30 days of purchase (some exclusions apply). Product must be in unopened, original packaging and resalable condition.

Shipping fees are non-refundable. Shipping costs and arrangement for returns from outside our fleet delivery areas are the responsibility of the customer.  Please contact us first for a Return Authorization. Where order errors are the fault of Monk Office, we will correct the error at no additional shipping cost.

Refunds and exchanges require receipt/invoice and verification of name, address, postal code, and phone number with a government-issued ID (e.g., driver’s license). No returns after 30 days. Where shipped, packaging must be dated within 30 days of purchase to be eligible for refund.

All refunds will be credited back in the form of payment originally tendered. If a gift card was used, the amount refunded will go back onto a gift card. Items purchased by cheque and returned within 14 days, will be refunded on a gift card.

Defective products will be exchanged in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Products that are marked as Clearance are final sale and are not returnable.

In order to prevent infection and for sanitary regulations, all headsets and accessories are final sale and are not returnable.

Commercial Business Delivery Release

Our Monk Express Delivery Team will deliver Monday through Friday during business hours. If you would like your delivery under $200 left at your address if you are not present, please download and print our Delivery Release form, and place the signed original in a location that is both visible and accessible to our driver. Orders over $200 will not be left at your address; we will contact you to arrange delivery or attempt delivery next day.

Damaged Items

If an item is damaged in transit by a courier (not our Monk Express Delivery Team), it becomes the responsibility of the delivery company. Please contact the courier directly for instructions regarding replacement or repair.

Price Changes

Please note that pricing and product availability is updated throughout the year. We make every effort to hold price increases, however, we are at the mercy of the manufacturers and therefore pricing and availability is subject to change. Online pricing on shop.monk.ca or while logged in to your Commercial Account provides the most accurate pricing available.

Exclusions

Special Order Products

Did we order something in special for you that isn’t on the website or available in store? We are so happy we could help! And we’re sure you’ll understand these purchases are final sale. Defective products will be exchanged in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty.

Clearance Products

Products that are marked as Clearance are final sale and are not returnable.

Technology Products

Technology products can be returned up to 14 days from the date of purchase, in original packaging and resalable condition. This includes: computers, laptops, tablets, printers, monitors, and other technology with memory. In order to prevent infection and for sanitary regulations, all headsets and accessories are final sale and are not returnable.

Software

All electronic software purchases that are downloaded are final sale and cannot be returned. Software that is sealed in original packaging can be returned within 30 days from the date of purchase. Due to copyright laws, we will exchange open software, CDs, DVDs, video games, and music only when media is defective and then only title for title.

Services

Services are guaranteed for 30 days from date of service. Services that have already been performed (e.g., tech services) are non-refundable.

Other

Pre-paid cards, opened packages of consumable products (such as, but not limited to ink/toner, batteries, and food) are not returnable. Defective products will be exchanged in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty. Commercial purchases including furniture, copiers and interior construction are subject to alternative Terms & Conditions.
