We have an opening for a Store Leader in Victoria, the candidate may be based out of one or more of our South Island locations.

In this role, duties include but are not limited to:

  • Using sales to drive and achieve profit goals
  • Provide customer obsessed service and sales through leadership by example, training, coaching, managing and scheduling a team
  • Selecting quality Team Members by effectively recruiting, interviewing and hiring
  • Training and developing Team Members to become productive and promotable internal candidates by:
  • Orientating, training, coaching, motivating, counseling, disciplining and providing written performance reviews
  • Participating and assisting in leading meetings
  • Providing and participating in opportunities for self-development
  • Controlling inventory and executing on placing orders, receiving and cycle counts

Information Technology Administrator - Victoria

The primary focus of the IT Administrator position is to ensure the optimum maintenance and support of all aspects of Monk Office computing hardware and software including head office systems, retail POS systems, network infrastructure and the internal telephone system. To ensure all internal customers have a professional, timely and pleasant experience when they rely on the services of the Information Systems Team. The IT Administrator will identify opportunities for system security and efficiencies.  Success in this role will result in well maintained Monk Office systems and infrastructure, while providing a high degree of internal customer satisfaction through exceptional service.

What you will do:

  • Co-ordinating with Monk Office’s managed service provider to ensure the day-to-day operations, support and maintenance of network system and infrastructure is maintained, such as user access, backups and end-of-day processes
  • Co-ordinating with Monk Office’s managed service provider to ensure infrastructure availability meets committed service levels; minimize the impact of incidents by ensuring appropriate support response times
  • Ensuring optimal support to team member needs relating to computer and/or software use and configuration
  • Ensuring the maintenance and support of the companies Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP) system
  • Managing the telephone system for all Monk Office locations
  • Ensuring timely hardware, software and telephone system set up and training for new hires and office moves
  • Providing ongoing education and upgrading of computer skills to the Monk Office team, as required
  • Identify and share opportunities to better service our systems and participate in solutions

What you will bring:

Education:

  • Post-secondary education in computer technology or equivalent experience.

Skills:

  • Experience supporting users in an IT environment that includes: Office 365, VPN networking with multiple locations, VMware, Veeam backup and replication, active directory, Cisco Meraki, retail POS, and e-commerce. Excellent knowledge of computer hardware and software systems and network administration and installation. SQL knowledge is beneficial. Self-starter, motivated and with proven problem-solving abilities, ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. An avid learner committed to keeping up to date with the latest technologies.

Experience:

  • 5+ years’ experience in a computer systems environment managing all aspects of infrastructure operations.
