Sales Support Administrator - Victoria F/T

The qualified candidate will undertake administrative job duties as it pertains to the Commercial Sales Team. This person will utilize skills to make certain that all Sales Team Members have the support required to service their customers and bring on new business. Aiding with internal procedures and customer communication are an integral part of this role. This person will attend regularly scheduled meetings with the Sales Director, Sales Manager, and Team Members to ensure that Monk Office is meeting and exceeding all customer expectations and helping to address and resolve customer challenges.

 What you will do:

  • Manage inbound sales leads and distribute leads to the sales team members
  • Troubleshoot problems as they arise and communicate with the Sales Team Member, Leadership, and the Customer with an action plan and resolution
  • Work with Sales Team Members to create quotes, pricing strategies, and
  • Follows up with customers to make sure that they are satisfied with a product
  • Manage and monitor various tasks and reports, including, but not limited to: Back order Reports, P-Status Reports, Returns/Credits, and Supplier Cross-Reference Reports. This person will liaise with various departments, determine an outcome and options for the customer, then communicate with customer and Team Member about the status of the specific item/task
  • Assist with our new customer onboarding process. Helping new customers navigate the website, order processes, and invoicing.
  • Create new accounts and account numbers in our ERP system for new customers
  • Exert attention to detail, as customers may have the same problems; reports the problems as necessary
  • Acknowledge customers by responding to emails, texts, and phone calls
  • Updates all contact information for clients
  • Deals with any customer complaints and resolves the issue as necessary
  • Arranges travel and accommodations for any Sales Team Member that is meeting clients outside of the office
  • Does any necessary administrative work including filing reports or presenting sales team with necessary documents
  • Escalation for customer support
  • Maintain web users (approvers, groups, restricted categories)
  • First escalation for Customer Satisfaction – work with Monk’s Customer Experience Team and Sales Team to develop and execute an action plan to resolve customer complaints. Communicate with the Team Members and the customer to ensure an adequate resolve is issued.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in office administration and execution in a multi-tasking environment.

Furniture Project Team Lead - Victoria F/T

The primary focus of the Project Team Lead – Commercial Interior Design is to strategically manage the order-through-installation process of office furniture projects that are awarded to Monk Office Interiors’ Furniture Team. The selected candidate will help the Interiors by Monk Office team by choreographing and executing a seamless installation experience for our clientele. This will be achieved through an organized, disciplined, energetic, professional approach to office furniture installations.  We command excellence to meet and exceed customer expectations. This person will be the strategic team lead and will coordinate all installation activities throughout the lifecycle of the furniture installation process. They will work closely with the sales, design, procurement, and operations teams of Interiors by Monk Office, as well as the be the main point of contact between the client and their project team.

 What you will do:

  • Managing all furniture installation projects from the time an order is input until the client satisfactorily signs off on the completed project
  • Working directly with Interior Design Firms, Architects, and various other trades organization to coordinate the successful delivery and implementation of the client’s office furniture
  • Managing and coordinating with the Interiors by Monk Office Team to ensure we are ready and prepared to deliver according to requirements of the project
  • Communicating the actions and responsibilities to the various team members by creating and following a pre-installation checklist and holding team members accountable for their responsibilities
  • Being responsive and accountable for the implementation of each furniture project
  • Maintaining amazing customer experiences through extraordinary and responsive service, as wells as honest & accurate communication
  • Identifying any challenges to the installation process before the installation and be able to trouble-shoot potential problems before they arise
  • Monitoring and reporting progress updates to the team on a continual basis, as required
  • Collaborating with the various team members to ensure all tasks and duties are being completed, on time, on budget, and according to the deliverables set forth in the project scope
  • Continually upgrading product knowledge and application of all products, services and programs offered by Monk Office
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of the furniture industry and different trades involved in commercial construction projects
  • Use provided tools and systems to manage projects / orders and perform inquiries as necessary
  • Dress and conduct oneself in a professional and respectful manner
  • Facilitate, attend, and participate in furniture project meetings – post-sale and sometimes pre-sale meetings, including training programs, product knowledge meetings, networking, and customer appreciation events.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated success in project delivery and execution of project management methods.
  • Highly effective negotiation, diplomatic, and conflict resolutions skills.
  • Interior Design experience and knowledge
  • Able to effectively communicate with all types of staff, including technical, professional, and upper management.
  • Knowledge of furniture industry, project management, and strategic planning.
  • Familiar with AutoCAD and potentially other line of business applications
  • Knowledge of various trades and their timelines within a construction project
