Fuel Surcharge
Monk Office will be charging a fuel surcharge on our deliveries. While the majority of our transactions are not subject to an actual delivery charge, the fuel surcharge has been put in place to offset the higher cost of providing delivery service due to a dramatic increase in our operating costs, triggered by the recent increase in the price of fuel.
Since our primary delivery market is Vancouver Island, we will be using the pricing shown on www.victoriagasprices.com for Regular Unleaded Gasoline to establish the rate of the Fuel Surcharge.
We will check the fuel prices every Monday and use the average price for Regular Unleaded Gasoline in Victoria, BC to establish the rate of Fuel Surcharge.

Fuel Surcharge Charge Exemptions
The following is a listing of order types that are exempt from the surcharge:
- Office Product orders over $250.00 before taxes
- All In-Store retail purchases not requiring delivery
- Back Orders, Order Corrections, Orders for Pick-Up and No Charge Orders
